Bringing down the house

I think the purpose of this vehicle is to breach the structure with hostiles that the SWAT/military are trying to enter. This way “unarmored” personnel aren’t the first target down the enemies sights.

I’m willing to bet that the vehicle breaches the structure, causing one hell of a commotion/confusion and either backs out to let the entry team in or stay and acts as a form of mobile cover.

no matter its design intent… it is “ALL THAT IS MAN!”

Agreed

The structure that was breached looked like a mobile home, not a house or let alone a real building. I could be wrong.

If LEO’s would used it to gain entry and clear a path, shouldn’t it be large enough to provide some cover from enemy fire?

These things are awesome but do not stand up do the killdozer! :stuck_out_tongue:

^ I remember the killdozer guy, quite a few years ago. The cops were helpless and he destroyed a bunch of buildings and cars with the thing before it broke down.

Alright maybe it wouldn’t be to easy to push over but it’s still an impractical design imo…When these things are mass produced or even batch produced I’ll eat my words. When someone gets hurt in one you can all lick my sack. Until then they should probably finish drawing the plans for the thing. I guess I just wasn’t very impressed with the show, or their whole operation.

edit: vid of the killdozer http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=24n77GgRtrw . Another all that is MAN…

Killdozer is def pretty BA

Imagine how pissed the cops would have been if the killdozer was remote controlled from an i-phone.

I watched it and thought it was terrible. How do they survive as a business? Seems like some kind of operation ran by a redneck who hit the lotto.

WAT?! Sure this little tank isn’t the greatest thing but the ripsaw kicks ass

lol, michael bay is considering making a movie based on the killdozer? haha.
I’d see it just to see how realistic the welding is… tbh.

It could be bigger. Who knows why they designed it to be that small. Maybe to be a world first?

They stated the main design concept was to be able to fit into the width of a standard door way.

This is a good piece equipment for war, not for law enforcement. This thing is a horrible idea and would not be used for most law enforcement situations IMO. There are far more situations where using this over a swat team would be nothing but failure.

They are nothing but amusing big boy toys with no true place in law enforcment. It’s just a repackaged version of “Monster Garage”, “Motor City Motors” and “Junkyard Wars” IMO. Same shit, same lameness, different name.

What happens if the bad guys are hiding out on the second floor??

Oh yeah that’s right, everyone has an elevator with a 2700 lb lifting capacity!!

In most stand-offs the hardest part is gaining entry without casualties once in close quarters most trained professionals can take control of situations.

I was thinking the same thing about using gas. Say you had some crazy whack jobs barricaded inside a building threatening to kill whoever tries to enter. If you have something that is resistant to conventional small arms fire, and moderate riffle fire, this thing would be perfect for infiltration. You catch the suspects off guard. If you have some sort of gas/stun grenade attachment on it, you could get in, immobilize the suspects without any loss of life, and quickly take control of the situation.
