For computer special people, thats all they need…
and I’d do it just for the 15’LCD and P4, that blows my 17: CRT and Celeron 766 out of the water (current home PC, weak I know, $$$)
dell’s base model 15" LCD’s are shit…unless you need it for the desk space.
17 CRT > dell 15" LCD
we got a ton of them here @ my work…dell LCD’s 15" on up to 21"
the higher end ones (UltraSharps??) are decent, but the base model 15’s are garbage and the 17’s aren’t that much better
they got a sale on notebooks right now too

For $499 what do you expect, I mean it’s a decent 15" flatpanel and a decent PC for most people that browse the net…
It’s a two/three year box, use it throw it away… You don’t need support it comes with a my shit is fucked up insert disc and fix CD.
^ and only a CD-ROM, no floppy drive, no speakers, a 56K modem. And guess what?! Dell’s Award Winning Service and Support!! :hahano:
256M on a mac mini is lame.

For sure,
I have a tempered glass and black metal frame L desk at home, weight of the CRT on the joint of that glass desk worries me
Dual 22" CRT be a man… large LCD response time and color depth suck ass…
50" LCD or go home!
although I dont use it as my everyday monitor :hs:
