Haha, we shall see.

If i had more money saved i would buy a fiberglass front clip someone is selling off a turbo buick forum. Gotta get her lighter! Although i believe it probably weighs 3400-3500, but wouldnt be surprised if its a little lighter

I like how the 8 second GN makes it look like I could walk faster then the G8 it beat and it still was in the 10’s

Here is a 8 Sec GN with the real motor in it.

Lol i like this guys sticker under the hood.

I was planning to start pulling the tranny, and rebuilding it myslef with some billet hard parts but i injured my back at work so i cant do any forward bending or heavy lifting for a month or so.

The tranny was slipping 1st and 2nd gear at wot, which usually is the 1st/2nd gear band possibly being glazed/bad.

Also need to refresh the motor, so my back injury and the dog getting sick set me back a little when it comes to the plans i had with the car this spring.

Debating if maybe i just refresh the tranny instead of doing some of the hard parts i planned.

Anyone a transmission builder? Im not trying to send it out, just curious if anyone has rebuilt trannys before.

so decided not to rebuild the 2004r, picked up a BOP th400!

It has a b&m transgo shift kit, otherwise stock hard parts wise. Should be good for awhile.

Now just need to clean it, get a converter, my driveshaft shortened or a custom made one. And fab up the column shift linkage since it still has an automatic valve body.

Which means i need to prevent boost from getting to the vacuum modulator, guess i just need to make a t with a check valve and orfice.

Its gonna be fun to swap everything, hopefully i can get ut ready in a month or two

Well with photobucket sucking ass now, here are my old pictures luckly I put on facebook.
