bumper laws

long story short, a friend is building bumpers for his truck.

Is it legal to run around without front and rear bumpers?

I know the plate has to be secured and there has to be a rear plate light, but is it legal to go without them.

Bumpers are being sold, so he can’t just run them.

Discuss.

I’m thinking it should be legal, due to roll pans ect but idk.

My dad just got a ticket and a nice fine because his rear bumper was bent. It was on there secure but was bent so he got a ticket.

i went thru a checkpoint without bumpers on my integra twice…

How long does he intend to drive it without bumpers? He may be okay, for a short while.

Every other Honda I see at MCC is missing a bumper/fender/panel.

I like how the drawings of cars on that state-run website are drawn by a 2nd grade classroom learning finger paints.
