^Members only would never fly. There aren’t enough people here paying to use the site (fwiw I want to become a member but I don’t have paypal and no one in charge will let me just EMT them the membership fee)
We would see nothing getting sold or bought. Most of the sales transactions on here go between non-paying members, but still productive members of the community.
I agree with a probation period, lots of forums have it, but not members only FS posting.
a good way to remove clutter is to allow the maker of the treads to delete your own. i know me personally ive had threads ive wanted to delete but i cant, so i say delete and they are still their. By limiting how many treads their are, you decrease the amount of treads to search looking for what you want.
Ive noticed some for sale treads haven’t been active for more that a year. Too long.

^^ And nothing more annoying than a noob bumping a 3 year old FS thread because they searched and didn’t check the dates.
