did any body on here get busted over by 97st and 153 ave a couple days ago a buddy of mine said he saw like 12 cars … skylines 240 stuff like that get busted in a parking lot i wanted to know if it was any body on here he said the car all got towed and there was like 7 cop cars and they swarmed around the group
i was there, the only car to be towed was a skyline because he didnt have proof of insurance, basically they pulled everyone over because some other ppl were doing doughnuts and shit, they handed out some exhaust tix and thats about it.
Yeah a guy I know Shawn got his skyline taken away there. Apparently they got caught “street racing” in a parking lot while parked :rolleyes: Apparently they took it b/c it didn’t have a VIN on the dash! Dumb cops, I told him to sue b/c of discrimination if what he is telling me is 100% accurate. Its totally bogus from the sounds of it
I saw a maroon Fairlady Z and a white 2nd gen Eclipse pulled over on 97st saturday night around 11:30. Same guys?

These are the guys that started it all. Aparently they were the ones racing, while the rest of us got dragged into it.

long story short i had information saying i had valid insurance and ownership, but the cop was bitching at me, and swearing and all this stuff acting un professional and i wasn’t disrespecting her,
acording to : the insruance bureau of canada, ING insruance, my insurnace broker newshum, transportation canada, alberta registrys, and about 4 high ranking senior police offiers of the EPS, (acording to all them) i had what was needed to drive legaly, and my car was insured since the 31st
but the cop was a bitch and didn’t belive me and wouldn’t call my insurance company to confirm,
she insulted me many times and also mooked (spelling???) me
and there were 4 or 5 cop cars and it was just stupid how they pulled us over, and we saw a couple of cops with there lights on farther down the road so we were going hte speed limit cus we saw cops
and i had just bought hte car like 30 horus before it happened, and my old car was officialy declared a total loss on that friday like 35 hours before this happend, and i had 14 days to swtich everything and get it straigtened out, but yea
everything is getting resolved and all the tickets are going away!

Ticks me off when cops and customs people think they know it all and are just being morons! SHIT!
every experience is different it seems … sometimes cop see you and give you the thumbs up or pull up and ask about your car and say its different … then sometimes they will follow you for blocks and pull you over and ask for papers and just harass you …
I just think this was a bad situation and a bad result from some cops with something to prove but it doesnt happen all the time … still it sucks and should be looked into
well the thing is some of the cops that were giving my frineds tickets that night were very very nice,

and i bought the car from redline not 4kruzn, but i know conroy had problems less than a week before trying to help one of his customers get there car out of the impound lot too
Ya Richard was telling me the same deal you had with one of there customers. How they impounded there customers car for not having a dash vin. Like duh not like we took it out juat look at the damn engine bay. lol
seriously that would such about the dash VIN … I cant imagine them towing away my car and not be able to do anything about it over some stupid thing like that
there is no law about where the vin is
and if you revin the car with ab vins ($400 fee) they put it in the door jam so still no visable from the outside
i think vins on the dash is just dumb, i can take the vin of a chevy silverado, and to go a gm dealership and get a key in less than a hour, you know why??? becuse i have, buddy at my work locked the keys inside a truck, so wearing my work clothes going in there picking up the keys, i was allowed.

Yeah, you can take out a loan on a VIN alone and the whole key thing too… Mines covered in a nice peice of black tape, why? so no one know what it is… cuz they dont need to…
