Buying a car now? or later?

this is begining to really bug me, so i want to hear what people think, should i spend $3000 on a 89-92 240sx or wait a bit (gets $400 a week) and buy a better one after or during christmas.

btw the $400 a week is hard earned money…not mommy’s allowance

wait

Do you need a car to drive?
Can you afford the insurance between now and christmas?

Too many variables!
Just keep your eyes out for a car you really like and that you can afford. whenever it happens, it happens!

Stop procrastinating.

i went through the same thing…

I say wait!!! keep searching and keep saving a untill you have enough and you find the perfect one.

I had saved then searched for 4 months (and saved in there) finally found the perfect one for me, low KM of 155000KM, red, fastback, I wanted a 91-93 and it was a 93, had no rust underneath, no rust execpt for a big bubble on a-pillar and the usuall minor engine bay spots.
Baught the car and with the extra money i saved, i picked up an intake, tinted the windows, fixed the major rust on the a-pillar and at th same time i had the sand and paint the top black.

I love my car

Less headaches in the long run if you wait.

wait, take $3500 USD to the states and grab a clean S13, use $200 you’ve set aside and throw a VLSD into it, and be happy. Canadian S13’s are something I no longer want to fart around with, personnally

i was going to wait till winter to buy an S14 but when i found mine i HAD to buy it, it was like fate lol.

i say keep your eyes open but dont jump on anything unless its too good to be true. patience is key.

i say wait as well but i bought my 89 240sx 2 weeks ago and im so happy with it and i cant believe it has no rust never winter driven so if you can get a great deal like i did well i say go for it but if u want something better then wait

cars are cheaper in the winter. plus you’ll save yourself the insurance money and be able to get something better

aright thanks guys, seems like is going to be waiting for me, anyways if anyone sees a 240sx within the 89-93 range thats in decent to great condtion be sure to let me know.

Thanks Again
