buying new tires

the widest i could go with is 8.5

+42. its a 5x110

buy some spacers

i thought about that, but i owuld rather just have something would fit without using spacers.
i mean the rims are 18’s and they only weigh 18.6lbs each.

You could squeeze a 275 on a 8.5 no problem. Plenty of options. Although spacers and a 9" wheel would be better. There are deff some sticky tires you could get. What are your real goals with these tires and how much power do you make now? Do you really think you will be making 400wheel anytime soon?

power i make now is around 220-240whp. yes i plan on making 400+whp by end of summer. i wanna have the car set up more expressway (GT, touring cars etc.) driving. kinda like your M5.

For those types of goals if you really don’t mind wheelspin in 1st and prob 2nd you could go with something like hankook rs3, azenis, direzza star specs. I personally like to be able to hit it from a slow roll in first with minimal wheelspin so I favor aggressive tires. However I do not care that much if my tires only last 5k miles.

turbo spec i knew made 287whp on the dyno. he loved the zri’s. only trying to help. op mentioned “coming down in price”, just giving an option cheaper than 4 kdws or dr’s that youll need again next year.

and yes mr. angryface, i do own drag radials, ive seen how much street use can wear them because i drive them to and from the track. ive felt how bad they spin in the rain, especially once they wear a bit, and because they are usually run at such low psi. so poo on your canoe.

Don’t be mad I just think your input is fucking terrible is all <3. If this car is making 400ish wheel in the near future it will be no fun to drive at all on most types of street rubber. I gave him some examples of decent street tires that are all fairly priced if he wants to go that route. If you are really having issues with dr’s in the rain then you need to reevaluate how you are driving. If you are smart about it most people never have an issue. This is a trade off most people driving cars that make big power are willing to make.

i agree with cougarspeed…plenty of people run DRs on the regular…its ok…in the rain be a little cautious

thanks everyone for the advice. im calling them to order everything today. they were closed when i called last night. im going with the OZ Ultraleggera wheels and Eibach Springs and sway bars front and back.
its gonna be a busy weekend once i get all my parts in haha!

so i ended up going with the Enkei PF01’s and got Eibach suspension for it to.
