I’m pretty sure if it can’t compete it can’t fun run. That would be an insurance nightmare if something were to happen.

PM rushman to find out for sure.

my guess is a liter bike would beat it. liter bike=less weight.
A liter would destroy it… i doubt this thing would even be in modern 600 territory to be honest (as they are well into the 10s now)
That rear tire looks huge and putting down ~180 hp based on a zx-14 with all the extra weight… i think it would be a massacre (in favor of the sportbike)
Fun factor for 2 up riding, obviously goes to the trex though… comfort of a seat > a bike.
0-60 in 3.5 is fast for a car, but for a bike, its quite easy to get to 60 in a little over 2 seconds…
It lives in that space where it’s hard to compare it’s performance figures to a car or a bike since isn’t about half and half.
Bottom line, it looks fun as hell. Still wondering if it’s going to Dunnville or if it would even be allowed on track.
Thats so mind boggling to me. I had no idea good sport bikes were that fast.
If you can stop it from wheelieing, its a non issue to get to 60 that quick… liter bikes esp.
figure that almost all new liter’s are ~400 lbs… and put down about 160 whp… sub 10 sec 1/4 at around 145 mph… roll on 60-80 and 80-100 are in the the 2sec range… (without shifting out of 6th)
Bikes are silly
Well it was going to be a surprise on the 24th, but the cat’s outa the bag now. If it’s not raining, Josh said he’d bring it. And yes, it’s allowed on track
Very nice. Wish I wasn’t going to be out of town that weekend.
when are you heading out to 1/4 mile track? i want to go and see what i can do. pm me

where did you find those specs?
another forum
do they have specs on the hayabusa?
I ATE A HAYABUSA TONIGHT ON THE 10R… every gear… oasis can vouch
verrry nice
I never did get the Bandwagon of the hayabusa and zx-14… seriously the only thing they offer over a liter bike is comfort (which is that great), weight (so they dont wheelie as easy), and lastly top speed (which to me, 160 is plenty fast, and if I cant trap it in the 1/4 mile, its unnecessary when we’re talking about racing)…
Josh, let me know if you ever decide to take it to the drag strip. Id love to see it run
My guess is it would turn a mid to high 12 on a decent run with a novice rider. Id imagine at best it would be a low 12, MAYBE… maybe a high 11… (which has to feel damn fast from a seated position)
