Just got a call from a friend in CA and he says that the street racing is real hot now . they have been street racing till 6am on the weekends with no problems . he has a vega that runs 9.22 and gets some cars running side by side with him . he says the slowest cars that show up are running 10.60s . i will have some pics to post post this weekend .

Where in CA, it’s not exactly the smallest state.
All of Cali is trying to crack down hard, but I still know a few places (all a few hours from where I am) that are going strong. However, new laws are making it a Felony crime to be involved in Street Races that result in injuries or death amongst many other new measures aimed at cracking down on it. The one thing they aren’t doing to stop it: build (or approve proposals for) new tracks. :mad:
