Good hit detection makes it fun to play again however it seems like everytime I turn around some new flying attack thing is happening lol
Yeah some of the air support is kinda wild. Also the maps are so granular and there are TONS of nooks & crannies for campers. I’d rather have deep maps and put up with campers than crappy maps and shitty hit detection tho.
It seems they really expanded on multi altitude maps. There isn’t really any map that you can play entirely on the ground with out getting rocked.
It seems they’ve also changed the difference between cover and concealment. Yes you can hide behind that rusty old car but my bullets are still going through it.

All I know was I got my a$$ waxed last night, first time on, it started off great, like 5:1kpd. That lasted for a couple matches, by the end of the night I was probably doing 1:5 at best.
To me, a baddie would just round the corner, hit me once, and I’m dead. But in the killcam they rounded the corner and unloaded half a clip. My connection speed is decent so I’m not sure why I’m lagging.
I forget what its called but those objective missions you can do solo or with another person are cool :tup:

After spending a little while in multi it has become pretty clear that they are done making good looking games and have moved more toward the “fun factor is our only priority”.
Definitely a far cry (no pun intended, referencing an incredibly good looking game for its time) from BF3. BF3 is extremely realistic. MW3, thus far, has been “game-y” feeling.
My KDR is horrible because I’m dicking around, but when I kick it into overdrive, I’ll let you noobs know.

My first match had no less than 5 host migrations and then was laggy as fuck.
Playing TDM was silent, no fucking kids on the mic… then I hop into a domination map and they wouldn’t STFU. No productive com at all… fucking noobs. I will smash them.

Um, so I just learned something totally lame.
There was a guy on the server, Jeebus, and he was clearly hacking. He carried on a conversation about how it takes 5 min to hack and that Steam can’t do anything about it. Clearly, Steam isn’t doing anything about it. It is Activision’s call… and they aren’t doing anything either.

I love playing objective maps again. I highly doubt I’ll ever play TDM while on MW3.
5 hours playing and I still haven’t played every multilayer map.
This is the only reason i wouldn’t get this for PC… I have the …ahem…single player only version right now and the graphics and game play are so far superior to console… but cheaters ruin the multiplayer. PC cracks for single player story enjoyment, ps3/360 for multiplayer.
