I already know some of you got the Beta, what you guys think of it?
so the demo is out on Live and PSN? i haven’t been online in a while but i did reserve it. i think it’ll have all the good qualities of modern warfare, plus online co-op campaign.
No, I don’t believe the demo is out yet. Just the beta. To get the beta, you either had to register at callofduty.com and have your name picked or you had to preorder the game. I have heard both good and bad things about it on some xbox forums. I think I will probably go out and get it once it comes out, but probably give it a week or two and see what the reviews are like.
To sum it up its COD:4 but old school weapons. Things I like that Treyarch (the maker of this call of duty) did actually right this time.
- used Infinity Wards cod4 game engine (with some improvements)
- Took Infinity Wards ideas of perks and create a class
- Kill Spree Awards - 3=UAV 5= Air Strike 7= Dogs (Yes, I said dogs)
- Pretty much took infinity wards ideas and made it there claim to fame (which is BS)

How do you like the new (old) weapons in WAW? Some people are complaining that the rifles are too weak (take 2 or 3 shots to kill w/o scope) and that the sub machine guns are too easy to use and you can just mow people down with them. Also, have they changed the sniping system at all?
I always play hardcore so, usually one to two shots with anything takes someone down.
I like the new weapons due to its something different from 4. Even though I would prefer modern, its nice to change it up a little. It does seem right now that sub machine guns do a ton of damage. Have to remember though this is BETA, when I was in beta4 the M16 would take out 3 people across the map.
I dunno what your getting at with “changing the sniping system.” But i’ll tell you my take on it, same as cod4 but with scopes you can actually use, thank god. For instance, when you equip a scope on a rifle it *increase range, AND accuracy! Instead of the ole’ cod4 with increase range and horrible accuracy with the AGOG.
The ranking systems a little different now also, you can break down your ranks in terms on game play choice. Meaning if you play hardcore like me all the time then your regular deathmatch/search/war etc rank will be low.
not really looking forward to this game but ill get it anyways. when does it come out?

Seriously? I like it a lot. For some reason, I am actually playing better on the new game than I do on COD4. I don’t know if it is because of the people I am playing against or if it is because the game has changed, but I am usually in the top 2 or 3 in each game now, whereas I used to be near the middle or bottom of each match.
im still at the top when i play it. its no harder than COD4. i dunno…its not different i mean they just made COD4 over with s h i t guns. its not horrible but im just gonna stick with COD4
