So, we’re moving. Few questions:
1.) Dishmover is the “free” re-install service, so long as we sign a new 18 month contract. Can I just pay the $99.95 and not sign the contract?
2.) I’ll be running new coax to the necessary areas… all the tech will have to do is mount & aim the new dishs (HD pkg), then wire to the switches. Anyone on here want an easy install? 
3.)Is there a free / cheap upgrade to a (HD) DVR settop?

are you under contract now? If you cancel and sign up for a new account in your wife’s name you can get the HD DVR free, plus the new customer rebate
Why would you run the cable when the Tech has to anyway for free? And are you sure you have 3gig RG6 if you are gonna run it yourself?
If you are under DHA your first Dish mover is free. If you dont want to sign a contract then it’s $99.95. Also if you have used a club dish card then you can get a free Dish Mover.
As for the 622 you will have to go back to your origional retailer or get it directly from dish. They rate your account A,B or C. Prices go $149, $179, $199. If your are gettin MPEG4 HD for the first time you will get $10 off for 10 months. Also, if you have been a customer for 12 months or more you get another $50 rebate

Because the intertech crew that came out to do my current abode was a tripplet of morons. Drilling random holes & such. I’ve slightly higher standards. Not too mention, they ran ONE single new line of 3G coax… in a 5 room install.

If you be specific where you want the drill holes etc, then it shouldn’t be a problem.
I wouldn’t pay money for your own equipment when they do it for free.
