The 1/8 is a losing battle for Jim so do it in the 1/4 where he has the back half to make up some time. Obviously auto cars still put down phenomenal times in the 1/4 and the ET is what wins it, but at least Jim has a better shot in the 1/4. I say do it.

You think racing a car with slicks/skinnys/th350/h/c/gutted/suspension vs street car with cam/6spd/drag radials in a 1/8th mile is remotely fair? :lol:

*Drag radials are more than capable tires, learn how to use them. Therfore the slicks comment doesn’t hold much water.
*Skinnys up front…sure they help but again but seriously, how much?
*Built auto…learn to shift the T56 I guess??? Biggest benefit I can see here would be the launch, which I won’t dispute…
*heads/cam…sure the LT car needs heads to realize better potential, but the LS1’s are quite good off the bat. Both cars are cammed so why bring that one in. I still stand by a previous comment that modification wise both engines are pretty close.
*Gutted,suspension…again this is an NA LT1 vs. nitrous LS1 callout. Eveyone takes different routes to go fast. Joel cut weight, JT added nitrous. I don’t see why mods like these get brought up all the time…

The launch? 1/8th mile is all about who gets the better launch…

Look at this for example BigEds car/My old car still has a better 1/8th mile time then anything JT has ever run even with nitrous…and that car was only 340hp before the big stall…

In all honesty i would be better off at the track without the nitrous, i have no seat time at all with it at lancaster and made 3 passes at NYI on it, (2 last year, one this year) with my best ET being 11.5, again with shitty short times. I have no interest in running at the track at the present time. Plain and simple. I dont know why that is so hard for you to get through your skull.

Its a full weight T56 car on 17inch rims vs TH350, Huge stall, light weight car, slicks…

You would be dumb to take on a 1/8th mile money race…

The funny part is JTs 11.5 with a shitty 60’ is still faster then Joelsters quickest run…

JT, I’m saddened reading this. its just a gay NA LT1 :slight_smile: even with ported heads he has, there are still worse the stock LS1 heads.
Then with 100shoot your gona be way up on power, over the 80 cubes or whatever his motor has on yours? But I thought he had a stock cube LT1, and chirshH or somone else had the 383?
What is your car doing wrong, I want to help you. Did you get new slicks yet? I remembered when you bought it didn’t it have good parts all around. Qa1 shocks, adjustable suspension, but you needed new rear tires this year?

the guy that owned my car before put the QA1’s on… i have a tranny mount non adj tq arm, subframe connectors and stock LCA’s (i have BMR ones in the garage), i have never really played with the settings of the shocks that much.

I have weld drag lights, with a bent front runner and a flat rear ( i lent them to slowrock and got one back with a hole in it :gotme:)

how does 383-346 = 80 ci?
