Can an na lt1 make 400 wheel?

Should have LT swapped my car. Fail.

I also enjoy swapped civics and various other cars…

just find it funny you hate so much and have never owned anything remotely fast or quick.

There are plenty of other engine options that are great however the price point LSx engine stuff is at now.

It’s very very hard to beat performance vs $$$$

What electronics cost? $200 for a truck harness and pcm? It only takes a few hours to convert into a universal harness.

You can try and make sense…

As an LT1 owner, and happy with my car, I learned to just keep my mouth shut.

i picked up my LT1 out of roadmaster lol. From my understanding the heads may be different than ones out of a firebird/camaro but still… 400$ for a good running engine that makes decent power stock is a good deal in my book.

if my car had an lt1 in it already i probably would build that . if my car did not have an engine, i would definitely save a bit more and go with an lsx motor (depending on goals of the motor)

Didn’t know there were so many options. Thanks for the info.

Iron headed with smaller cam. The lt1s in the roadmasters were built to be have a good amount of torque but not much for power and the heads don’t flow well.

The iron heads actually flow a little better.

Oh no not again.

The iron heads flow a little better than the aluminum heads. This is fairly well-documented. The flow is not a lot better but it is measureable. Like 5-10cfm better. Barely offsets the added 60lbs on the nose of the car, and they don’t accept bigger springs like the aluminum versions due to the spring perches.

My na 383 is right around 400rwhp. Stock ported heads, mild custom grind cam,all the bolt-ons, and a custom 3" true dual exhaust over the axles.Getting the tune spot on is key.

Meh, there are nicer heads, architecurally, but that is pretty bad ass. I want to visit an LT1 someday.

I see what you did there.
