everything turned out really well except for the O2 housing. i bead blasted it forever and i just couldnt get rid of the discoloration. its going in tomorrow morning, and with any luck i will be driving it home.
i dont get it, looks fine to me. can you be more specific as to where the problem is? i think you are just a dumbass honda owner and dont knwo what you are doing. get a v8 and you have no worries. good luck
looks like my last 1.8 motor, wexcept mine had pieces of the block and a rod hanging out the side.:lol: oh well, i guess bigger motors blow up way cooler.

lee is doing an equal length for me. it was supposed to be on this motor, but with my other one blowing up we kinda had to rush. not that we werent being lazy about it before

i pushed the piston down as far as i could, and the wall looks fine. when it went i did hear it rattle a little; so i assume it broke close to the big end. it probably beat up on the girdle. thats ok, there is an extra d15 that is beat sitting at hybrid. i could getto slap this back together in no time and have a spare just incase motor.
you know, it would have been really reliable had i never bought that damn boost controller from 99civicsi.
