Can you weld 1020 Forged Steel?

I’M GONNA DIE LOL

Preheat, prep, weld/peen, anneal and maybe normalize.

Not to mention its a steering attachment, wont see as much stress as a control arm fixture point. It wont see much stress until benny stuffs it into a wall or guardrail.

I am open to suggestions, I strive to learn something new every day. I welded a bunch of cast iron manifolds; crack repair and changing flanges, and some other cast stuff for tractors and what not. Not the most demanding parts, but nothing broke so far I worked on.

i’ve seen it done on knuckles and link mounts on axle housings in a rock crawler setting.

works fine

Oh yeah not much at all :rofl :rofl

Its just a grocery getter anyways. No big deal.

It’s just Benjamin, NBD.

WILL YOU FAGGOTS SHUT THE HELL UP HOLY FUCK IF MY TIE ROD ATTACHMENT POINTS BREAK OFF I WILL FUCK SOMEONE UP STARTING WITH YOU THREE MEAT SWORD SWALLOWERS

Did T$ take over Bennys account or something? Loads of RAGE itt!

???

it’s not ghetto by any means, it’s a reliable, easy, cheap way to get faster steering, and more lock if that’s what you’re in to.

Well, can you?

Yep, I can do it for ya. bring them by when ever you put the car down for the winter and we will bang them out.

I see what you did here… Title changed. Ahhhhhhhh

No it’s been that since day one.

:wow

it is a beauuuuuuuutiful title.
