I thought you were buying an '01 F150?
well to sum that up i took it to albany speed to check out when it left part of the frame was sitting in the bed. yetti can explain that one :lol
Now getting 28mpg with that being about 85% highway driving, city driving I cant get over 21-22. Contacted the dealership and they said they will look at it but more than likely there is nothing they will be able to do. If they look at it and it gas mileage does not improve Im going to look into ways to unload this car ASAP. I bought it to get 40mpg’s and to have the peace of mind of driving a new car, Im not getting either of those things.
It does look like a class action lawsuit could happen sometime soon, apparently a lot of Elantra owners are not happy and are having the same issues I am.
That’s shitty, but you have to remember: underneath all that glam is still a Hyundai.
wow keep us posted after i saw your frist few post i was thinking about buying one now not soo much…
lulz at gassers getting 40+mpg.
They say 40 m.p.g capable . Ya know what it takes to get that mileage ??? No heat or accesories on idle basically everywhere etc . It’s a sales pitch man and they got u .
just like the warranty that doesnt cover shit.
The Cruze gets over 40mpg on 87 octane. Cute little car that thing is.
If you wanted 40+MPG, should’ve gottten a TDI. Even with winter blend fuel and the cold temps I’m averaging 45-48MPG putting around town and some highway(cruise at 68-70mph) on my 50+ mi. per day work commute. In the warm weather I was averaging 50-52MPG no problem. Lowest MPG I’ve gotten was 44.8 and that must’ve been either shitty fuel or because I was romping on it a bit that tank. Also, I’ve been filling up about twice a month since September with each fill up costing around $52-$57.
TDI=Ultimate commuter car/money saver
^ yup, mine got 50mpg averaged.
The 9-7X gets 15MPG in the city. So gangster, all of the girls at work want to suck my cock because I pay so much in gas every week.
