Car Insurance, from whom should I get it?

Alright, its time of me to get a new insurance company. State farm is to damn expensive and they don’t seem to be any better then any other company. Can anyone suggest a good company, preferably in Canada/Ontario. I am 22, have been driving for 5 years, full G, no tickets, no claims.

I went to one of those sites where you give them your info and they get a bunch of quotes from different companies, and the cheapest one I got back was for $2147 ($174 Month) from Upper Canada Direct. Does anyone know if they are any good?
Any suggestions would be helpful.

search, search, and some more searching. then compare a few of your lowest quotes. it varies for all drivers so you never know what you can get.

can you play hard ball with these people? could i say “you’re going to charge me $210? well company X said they were only going to charge me $170, can you beat that?”

i’m with bel air direct, they’re about half the price of most other companies for me and i’m still taking it up the ass from them, my monthly payment is the same price i paid for the car and my record isn’t even that bad. insurance is BS.

I doubt you can haggle with insurance companies. They don’t really care. I’m with Belairdirect btw.

$174 Month is a joke lol. I would be happy if i were u. im 21, drivin for 5 years, full G licence, no accidents, a couple small tickets, no demerit points, been with pearson dunn since day one and my parents are also insured thru them both of there vehicles, and the house. I pay 400/month for my 92 coupe and they dont even know about the SR.

Try PC financial. They gave me the best rate. My 240 and Accord are 165/month. I live right in the middle of Toronto though.
