So the people can be charged with discon for blocking traffic, and then for criminal mischief for damaging the car after the fact.

The car driver could be charged would vehicular assault for driving into the people.

Looks like everyone is keeping it classy!

Yes, why wasn’t the person driving at work, too!? ah, stress…

The article said he was driving home from work.

Oh my gosh. He’s such a good citizen.

I don’t think the protesters should have been blocking the street however I don’t understand how the driver isn’t being charged with vehicular assault…

Who cares

.

the drive video made me chuckle…

perhaps im a touch insensitive?

If you stand on train tracks you’re probably gonna get hit by a train. Stand in the street…

I’m thinking much like the incident with the motorcyclist in NYC hit by the SUV, if the driver thought he was in danger commence plowing

I would consider an angry mob hitting / surrounding my car a threat with deadly force. I would then feel justified to neutralize the threat and get myself out of the situation with whatever means necessary, since I would not be safe in my car at that point.

I am right there with you. I would have people hanging out of the audi rings
