Anyone here ever ship a car, i gotta get my car down to florida but dont wanna just go with anyone. Any input is appreciated.

DAS was awesome until they moved their hub out of buffalo. Look into their door-door service

Trusty Transport FTW.

I ebay’d a car, had it shipped from Yonkers to here this summer.
Door-to-door, Flatbedded, 2 day service, ~$120 + tip (optional of course).
Small company, fast as hell cust. service.

I talked to DAS about it, but I they do not handle same state orders, so I cannot go further then saying “they were nice on the phone”

$120?
You would think the fuel would cost that much.
That is a good deal.
I may need this service too.

exactly. I dunno how, but that’s about what I paid. iirc his emails were along the lines of “1 guy dispatching a small fleet of trucks keep overhead down”.

Whatever… it was cheap, timely, and  attitude. I’ll see if I can find the shipping docs at home tonight. Guy’s name was robbie, but that’s about all i remember atm.

How about I drive it down when I come instead of flying next month?

fed ex will do it but it’ll take 2 years, and cost you about $500… so dont pick them.

like kyle said, DAS (Dependable Auto Shippers) is good, i’ve used them 4 times in the past. one was actually coming up FROM florida, i wanna say it was $500?
