Cars & Coffee @ Eastern Hills Mall (NOT run by Matt)

Leave it to NYSpeed to have negativity about people getting together to enjoy cars and the hobby in general.

By some logic, I guess Roy Hobbs is the only person who should be able to enjoy hitting a baseball.

I’ve been known to throw stuff. There was that one incident in the temple…

Sure I would, think I wasn’t grinning from ear to ear when I changed the river water to wine? What a party that evening was… but now we’re really getting OT.

Meh.
Why even take the time to point this out?
This can be said about 95% of shows/events.
A majority of heavily modified cars are “hey look what I bought and installed” but I’m not about to go welding up my own control arms.

lol, AWESOME!!!

So when’s the next one @Mr_New_York ?

Sept. 21st…3rd Sunday of the month…

Just like 91MR2 said, September 21st. This will be the final Cars and Coffee of the season, so let’s make it the biggest one yet.

I don’t go crazy over new cars really, stock nor modded. Older cars however, stock or modded, really tickle my fancy. Because it’s like “why was this person drawn to this car?” So much more rarity, the taste to obtain is has to be so much more unique.

They have to have some type of interest in that thing to pursue it so heavily. Or perhaps they came about it in a very random way, like the 1 owner cherry mk1 rabbit we got on craigslist (later sold to minglor) where my dad walked in my warehouse and said “oh, Bob’s car! We used to auto-x together.” And it then has a cool story and sentimentality.

An m20 e30 is boring to me, that’s why we were doing e36m3 motor swaps into them for a minute. An e30 m3 however I would feel bad about pulling the s14, because it’s part of its motorsports heritage, the motor and the car are a complete package that worked together to achieve something significant at some point in time.

I guess I just like old things, the aesthetic was so much more pleasing to my palette, and there was so much more variance in designs.

Final Cars and Coffee of the year will be Sunday 09/21. Hope to see you there

Since there was such crappy weather this morning, we will be having Cars and Coffee on this upcoming Sunday the 28th, Orchard Fresh OP at 9:00.

Cool, because I couldn’t make this one

Same. Omw back from COTA Race now.

I ment I just saw this thread today at almost 7pm so I would have missed it either way, but now that its next week I have a chance to go!

Weather looks like it’s going to warm up the next few days and the weekend should be nice.

Usually by 11am the crowd begins to disperse.
