Cars & Coffee @ Eastern Hills Mall (NOT run by Matt)

Thank you to all who attended, the event had over 175 cars, a fantastic turn out for our first event of the season. I would like however say that this event has always been, and will always be about Quality, not Quantity, while I won’t mention specific cars, there were several cars that were questionable, and I heard this from a variety of owners, not just the PCA who often gets blamed. While this is an all make event, I would also like to reiterate that the focus is on the higher end automobiles. I enjoy having all sorts of cars show up, that is the idea of the event, however I don’t want to see this turn into a tuner event, or like above mentioned Lancaster Cruise nights, or 716 racing. I understand that this will cause blow back, however I need to reset the focus of the event for the season. I am only asking that we use good judgement. With that being said they were a lot of very nice vehicles that came out, The scout harvester, and 63 split window corvette were beautiful. Questions or concerns, or if you would like to yell at me for this post, my email is matt@mwphotography.us. Thank you

I heard some fuck brought a lifted Miata.

3rd Sunday of the month.

Going to regulate this next time?

I’m hoping I don’t have too.

Cannondale CAAD9 and Coffee. Next one will be Cyclocross and Coffee.

I think is talking about Oynx style mufflers

Just to get a feel, would something like my E30 be on the undesirable list? My guess is: yes.

That shit is junk. Prob not even safe to drive.

Who gets to tell those Porsche Boxster and 944 owners their cars are not high end?

i dont think that message needs to be delivered here… the guys posting here are probably the ones you DO want coming out.

God I would love to!

Edit, I would love to from the window of my 3800 Cavy. LoL

Then may that post end here. Thank you for your understanding.

My guess is nobody… Lol
its a Porsche br0… Ten years old and worth $8k or not it says PORSCHE!

Boy, this thread could easily get out of control…I hope it doesn’t…

X2. I’m trying to bite my tongue.

haha same

I know the guy has good intentions. We all like different things.

I can see his point, though. Just as long as they aren’t telling people not to show up if you don’t have a super high end car. If you can make it there and be respectful to everyone, then no one has the right to tell you not to come.

I stopped by in my 335 and purposely parked away from everything else because I understand that the point of the event is focused on high end cars, and mine isn’t high end. Just a thought.

“Don’t come” and “don’t park in the middle of ferrari lane” are two very different statements. Neither of those statements were made so that leaves the expectations very vague. Also using statements like “High end” also leaves huge holes. Is high end defined as someone who dropped $100k on a car and wipes it with a diaper, or someone who dropped $40k to be way faster than that $100k car?

This.

An “Invite Only” section in the main area would probably be a good middle ground. It doesn’t send the message “don’t show up”, but it also puts the focus on the cars which are intended to be focused on.
