I will be there!
Pumped for this! Think the location is going to be great.
Sounds fun. I think I’ll take the father in law to this in the morning until 11, then head over to the Vette show at Basil afterwards.
^
How many lawn chairs will you have to pack in there???
As many as will fit next to the Vette jackets, blankets to keep warm, and my walker.
Surprised the location was let out so soon…not so sure that was intended…
Can someone post this on the 716 racing Facebook please
I’ll be there finally in the 911 for everyone to judge my tires. Oh my dad in the lambo and brother in his 350z will also be coming.
I have no dog in the fight, just like going to these once a month when I am in town, however, from what I understand…Matt (Mr. New York) has put a lot of time and money (not to mention, fines from the last event) into getting this new location, and while I do not want to speak for him, I’m sure he doesn’t want a repeat of what happened at Orchard Fresh…posting it on that forum will probably not help his cause…
That is why I didn’t post on here. Maybe with insurance and a huge empty parking lot it is not really a concern. lol
Maybe…regardless, it doesn’t mean he will want to deal with the BS…also with what happened at the event last time, I am sure it will be a factor in people showing up or not…and if cool cars do not show up based on fear of how the last event went down, that is pretty sad…
I could’ve sworn Matt posted it on here yesterday evening. It’s up on WNY exotics so keeping it a secret is kind of hard to do. Would like to know if they’re planning on having any “crowd / car” control with respect to who / what parks where. At least there aren’t too many hills for the jeeps to park on and the mall should be closed so we won’t have to worry about thefts.
I’m 100% sure @newman was joking.
And I never use Facebook so I assumed @llink78’s post with the date / location was real when I changed the thread title here.
If @Mr_New_York didn’t intend to get the word out I’m sure they would have kept any mention of it off social media for now. That’s just Internet 101.

This isn’t a dig at you Mike, but I’ve heard this from several people in person over the last year or so.
Where does the perception come from that the shitty cars and people who show up to C&C are from this forum? Honest question because I’m confused as fuck here.
I’m pretty sure this community (not me personally) has driven away any 716Racing / Team Wicked / Johhny wit da Nissmoz / etc crowd that has tried to get a foothold here. Yet for some reason it’s being inferred to me that NYSpeed is the problem. This, despite the fact that when I go to C&C I can point to half of the nicest cars there, name their usernames on here & real names while none of the kids with POS “whips” have even heard of this forum.
It can’t be because we’re a public forum. Facebook normies are too lazy to sign up here when they can get the same info without having to leave their crib. Posting info here can’t possibly draw in more crap cars than posting on a public Facebook page.
I can remember only a few years ago that the perception of this site was “elitist” and that we were all old, or that you had to have some crazy nice car to be here. I even talked to a kid with a 300zx last summer who said he didn’t think he could post here because his Z wasn’t nice enough… and I had to tell him I had a Z myself, lol.
“Oh shit! He’s in dat NYSpeed club! Day got a LOTUS!” <- Anyone else remember this nonsense?
Obviously this community isn’t static but have we really somehow been re-branded? :gotme:
I just spit pretzels on my monitor
Upset I’ll be in ADK that weekend. What happen at the last C&C that went south so bad?
I second that question. Besides it being extremely overcrowded, it seemed calm and people were listening to the cops without issue. Well, that’s how I perceived it at least.
I am sure he was joking too…however, just pointing it out in the event that someone else would read and think posting it there would a good idea or funny…and again, I am not speaking for Matt, but from the impression I had gathered, I was just surprised to see it posted so soon…
There was talk of thefts from Rite Aid, people on the roof, and destruction of the lawn by the Jeep club. Not to mention all the handicapped spaces were parked in and I don’t think Orchard Fresh sold more than the donuts and coffee bought by those attending.
You’re welcome.
It’s also dumb some of you think people won’t find out about this based on its location and the size of turn out it gets.
If you really want to get rid of shit heads just make it from 7am-9am on a Sunday.
Helpful troll is helpful.
