Cars & Coffee @ Eastern Hills Mall (NOT run by Matt)

[quote=“HouseS2K,post:1100,topic:268790"”]

I saw that white crx with a mid engine b18 swap.

It’s an H22 in there.

Made it, and the sun was out

Better showing than last month from what I saw. A lot of Mclaren’s too

But holy hell there were some jackasses there. Some idiot in a blue 240sx S14 even drifted in the lot. If anyone knows anyone who acted like a dick and they’re on this form, post up their names so we can give them the boot :ham:

I heard all about the clowns…

Cant wait for them to complain about the security presence now…

Stay away if you are a clown.

I got there late AF cause of the black clouds until 11am. I was there at noon, left at 1215 lol There was some guy in a newer Subaru with mismatched colors doing 360s like a hardcore bro.

I’ll make another post later regarding the event, but as posted above, select individuals have earned themselves a ban from Cars and Coffee. This will be enforced by the Sheriffs that I now have to pay to supervise as people leave next month.

geez really? idiots have to try and ruin nice things for everyone

Sorry to hear about the ass-hattery. I can’t say I’m too suprised though. I had to explain to my son what a ‘Vape-Bro’ was after he kept asking about the smoke clouds.

Vapers gonna vape.

Seriously though, there were great cars at this last one. No one should be turned off from going because of some idiots.

Maybe I’m overthinking it but it seems like there are less social consequences for these idiots now-a-days when events are through Facebook. I’ll be the first to tell you that it’s impossible to eliminate all idiots from an event, but back in the day they’d get the 'ole ban hammer and automotive community would make them a pariah. No one is losing access to Facebook because their right brain took over their right foot at C&C.

I’ll be there around 9 Sunday

Weather report showing clear for Sunday morning, this is our last event of the year. Looking forward to seeing everyone.

Nice turnout. Loved the silver Espada.

Good showing indeed…it was also hilarious seeing the silver Z get pulled over for drifting out like a total asshole…

Was a nice day minus the wind. Awesome getting a chance to see and go for a ride in the Caterham. What a ridiculous car. Found out it had 260hp while weighing about 1200lbs. CRAZY!!

Nice having quick chat with Joe and being able to see his car as well as his mothers car again.

The red 97 NSX had me jaw dropped with only having 24,000miles on the odometer.

As for the 350z, I actually know who that was and found out after the fact. I made a comment asking how he could do that after seeing all the bs about cars and coffee on the internet. He said cars before him took off like idiots so he didn’t see why he wouldn’t as well. Well first hand, he was the only car I heard peal out. He ended up getting an unsafe start ticket.

Rode by in passing on the Ural…didn’t get a chance to stop but the turnout appeared to be pretty solid! Nice job as always Matt.

I saw you whiz past. What a sight, seeing a handsome guy haul past on a sidecar equipped bike, wearing what looked to be a tweed suit…like a scene out of a movie, haha

Def. a tweed suit! What a gentleman.

Listen ya jerks…I dig my informal wool blazer lol. Should’ve seen the faces when I showed up to a wedding on a loud, leaky and smelly motorcycle with sidecar, haha.

Agreed, I had the Troopers there to ensure that things like that didn’t happen, and some thought it still was a good idea to act like that. They allowed quite a bit for those exiting the event, but for those crossing the line there are consequences.

On a positive note, thank you to everyone that has supported the event this year. There are quite a few members on here that are regulars each month, and I appreciate your continued attendance, and assistance in policing attendees and discouraging reckless behavior. I am looking forward to next season, and working alongside many of you to improve and make this event the best it can be. Any suggestions or ideas for next year, please let me know.

Thanks again for all your efforts to keep this going month after month!
