The Kmart on French and Transit is closed so the parking lot is wide open. There is a starbucks on the corner…also a Tim Hortons and Dunkin Donuts within a mile.
Sheridan Drive has been the most receptive to any cruises that have been ran. Technically if a ton of people decide to go to a location and hang out, drink coffee, etc as long as they aren’t causing a problem, then it shouldn’t matter. This type of event is wanted by a lot of people. Like I said, I am working on 2 other locations.
Realistically if these 2 other places give me the same canned answer, I’m tempted to do an automotive flash mob and we fill the lots up anyway. Either they will welcome us back or kick us out.

The response thus far has been fantastic, there is a huge interest for the event in the area which should translate nicely into a large attendance.
Cars:
The Lotus, Ferrari, Porsche, Corvette, and Viper clubs have talked to me and will be coming out in force, as well as vehicles from Shelby, Audi, BMW, Lamborghini, Ford, Dodge, Ariel, as well as a few others. There will be a wide variety of vehicles attending, so you will get a chance to meet owners and vehicles that you may not have come across before.
Weather:
There is a chance of rain in the afternoon, but the radar video shows it coming in the mid afternoon, long after we will be gone. So right now we have clear skies for our time in the morning.
There is a Manhattan Bagel at the entrance to the plaza, as well as fresh brewed coffee inside Orchard Fresh. Grab a cup of coffee, and relax in the presence of some truly great machines. This provides a nice reason to get your vehicle out for a hour or two on a beautiful Sunday morning while still giving you the entire rest of the day to be with your family and friends.
