Cars & Coffee @ Eastern Hills Mall (NOT run by Matt)

Apparently it’s invite only. To get that invite you must own a $100k+ vehicle :man_shrugging:

I would like a “spectator only” invite with the understanding that I won’t park my plebeian mode of transport in sight.

Definitely some interesting cars, but they were so scattered among the bagged out extreme camber stuff that they got lost in the mix. The VW type 3 notch with the swapped 2.0T in it comes to mind, definitely cool. Would of been nice if there was some organization as far as parking to get the similar cars together.

One Sheriff was there in the beginning, he was cruising around the lot and chatting with some folks.

Some nicer cars came out to this but as for a “Cars & Coffee”, it was definitely a meh. I think we had about 3… maybe “supercars”. Some idiots leaving the lots. Wish I knew about this super secret event as well. I wouldn’t care to park my S2000. Just like seeing high end luxury cars you otherwise only see possibly pass you on the road for a second.

Did anyone catch the old Ranger with the coyote 5.0 swap? That took me by surprise.

I’ll give these new guys credit for sure for bringing out a crowd. As I drove away I saw them cleaning the area too. But it’s simply less interesting to me without rare cars.

I’ve changed the topic title here and won’t be updating the dates in-title as I did when @Mr_New_York ran it.

I did NOT take this drone shot BTW, but it is similar to what I did last year:

You broke the code.

Do I sense a bit of jealousy?

In all seriousness since when does he have any obligation to please the car community as a whole?

Individuals stepped up and got the cars and coffee event back up and running and people are still upset. :man_shrugging:

@jrod0187 I think if you’re on this site you’ve certainly been around long enough to know that car people get upset, lol

Not jealous at all. I know half the guys that were there anyway. I wanted to go to this cars and coffee to see it and support Executivewraps as I have done business with them. I plan on attending the next one also. They plan on making a bunch of changes to make it better.

How are they? I know @bing was looking for a recommendation.

I recommend bing to my wife’s partners husbands company, Streamline Design. They do more commercial and less vehicle as where that’s all Executivewraps does. They did the roof of my z06 and the one is doing a house call to wrap some interior parts in this new 3m carbon. It’s the most realistic I’ve seen.

True story.

@HouseS2K they’re in NT/ wheat field correct on Nfalls Blvd?

The 100k comment was unnecessary only reason I had to comment. Even if Matt is running a super secret event I can guarantee those aren’t the prerequisites. Matt has to draw the line some where between car/ personality and with that said I suppose not everyone made the “cut”.

Yes blvd just after the plaza on the left when you pass woodcock brewery. Again I wasn’t being serious as far as what makes the cut lol anyone that knows me knows I’m sarcastic.

Probably a bit jealous and pissed his appletree mall endevor didn’t work out after he ran his mouth to me.

I haven’t seen any promotion of this leading up to this weekend. Granted I’m not on FB, but I just checked and they haven’t made a post since last month.

716racers meet, siqqqq.

To be fair, the weather was terrible Sunday morning so no meet was going to have a great turnout.

This Sunday, and they’re trying some marketing:
