Cars from the late 80's early 90's that still look good today

90% of the cars posted in the fggt thread look like the where made in exactly in the era that they where.

I think that audi quatro still looks good by today’s standards.

Z31s!

Srsly though, I think people are starting to forget what the original topic was.

Without a doubt the FD is the clear winner here.
I’d have to go along with the supra, viper, and mustang as well. They all looked good during a time when like the corvette was plain horrid looking.

Ill have to agree with the fd. My father has one, growing up that was for sure the hottest car around and still is IMO. One of my favorites though:

I would not think this lexus is a 1991…

Strangely, I think the Ford Probe 1st gen looks way cooler than the 2nd gen.

i came in here to post this

Car was pretty boss in its time

i think the 90’s supra’s and rx7’s fit the bill perfectly…BUT hands down my favorite will be the 964 generation of the 911 which is still my favorite 911 generation aside from the original…

edit let me be clear that i would have included the 993 version of the 911 also but it was more of a late 90’s body style

i will also add the 959 which was porsche’s answer to the group b craze… it ran from 86-89

While I think the boxxy cars look good today. I do think every time I see one that they are from the 80s.

An RS Camaro? Seriously?

Aside from the few people that understood that it is cars that ACTUALLY look good if they were sitting in a new car showroom not what you think looks good because it was your dream car in the 80’s this thread is full of:

The Lexus SC400 fits the bill of a car that “would look current today”.

What the fuck…

ALL FAIL!!

I think the question should have been; “if an average person walked into a dealership showroom and ____ car was on the showfloor, they wouldn’t know if it was old or brand new.”
