I know most of us on here know about it, but I figured I’d help a little bit of the confusion. Some people say it doesn’t matter the MPG of the new vehicle you trade in for, and what you’ll be trading it, others say it does. Here’s an image chart taken directly from www.clunkercashbill.com .

Car must be 25 years old or newer
Car must qualify via gas mileage chart above according to www.FuelEconomy.gov
Car is discounted off of MSRP at time of purchase, you do not have to wait for a check
Car must be registered and insured in your name for past 1+ year to qualify
