Im getting the ECT - engine coolant temp code as well as the Intake air temp code, should i just replace both sensors or is this telling me there is something else wrong?
Also the heater hose closest to the center of the car is leaking at the firewall no matter how tight the clamp is, does the plastic fitting that sticks through the firewall screw into the heater core and if its loose could this be the reason for the leak?
is there a chance you have the plugs switched?
there should be that plastic piece then a hose then the Heater core…
You can just Do a temp fix and bypass your heater core…
ill have to check but i dont think the plugs are switched, yea bypass is my back up plan
probably heater core leak down. do you have the ect on the back of the motor hooked up and what ECU/chip are you in for?
sounds like you have a problem with the sensor ground wiring. both of those 2 sensors tie their sensor grounds in together.
i have a p72 that says skunk 2 on it… ill have to check on the chip. I will check the sensor gound tonight.
