Celtic1982citleC's fully built 2006 WRX STI

i hope to fuck it spools before 4k like my big fp green. he said he’s limiting the rev’s to about 7k… less than 3k rpms of power is like having vtec engage at 7500 on a honda. i hated the lag but loved the top end power… i wish you all the best justin… do me a favor and have adam shield those power steering lines during the next turbo install… heat + PS lines = bad shit.

wrap’em in gold foil!

think i saw this car today on central, FRIGGIN HOT looking with the black wheels

He lives like 2 minutes from me and I have yet to see this thing :sad

Being his daily driver at current time I insisted sticking with the stock rev limit. W/O cross drilling the crank, boring case gallies, and/or setting up some major oiling components(read drysump) you must be careful with how fast you swing these motors. Also insisted with that RPM due to CP pistons non-offset pin setup. Rod angles and piston speeds are different now, as well as side loading of the piston under the power stroke. Non offset pistons tend to induce a little more load on the rotation assembly. If spinning a suby motor up high is the goal, it should be built with a longer rod and lower compression height piston to reduce the overal stress on the motor itself. This in effect reduces the torque leverage the motor can achieve when compared to a similar short rod/high comp height engine, but also reduces the torque stress on the motor which is good for bearings. The extra RPM can make it back up in the end though, so it’s just the initial cost of the custom parts that’s rough…

In any event…the 4.0R is slated to spool damn good and GSC S1 cams on help that matter along.

check for leaks…lol

I will start the bidding at $15,000.

Sold!!! :umm

car is DONE! mod list on page 1 finalized. pics coming soon of finished product.

:excited

Seen it twice. Sounds mean!

See the Weapon wheels on it w/ the Evo offset? Wheel and outer lip of fender are good friends…they were kissing quite often til the suspension was adjusted and re-setup :nod

I’ve only seen the car rolling but it does look flush :smile

:nod I personally like the Evo fitment wheels on the car better than the black ones that were on it previously. They’re an aggressive fitment on the fenders, but fuck it that car looks damn good.

I still have yet to get a ride. Just sayin.

Dominator 4.0r has a 58 lb/min compressor wheel :ohnoes

GT3292R in disguise…

what are we looking at for a trap speed?

211

Did you do anything special to cure ej257 oil problems?
Or is that top secret?

:rofl

We’ll find out when I get to a track…no guesstimations out of this camp :nod
