Cert. Sticklers?

How fast is the coupe compared to the hatch?

sorry man, it was sitting right there…

theo that was low real low…but still funny

i drove vadims car around his neighborhood, actually thought it was responsive, but it had a hard time moving up to speed. also, i thought vadim put new fuel lines in?! anyways, i almost bought that nice looking coupe! have fun with the car!

he did, maybe they used shitty line or something - it rusted through, the feed isnt rusted through quite yet but its falling apart and very very close to breaking.

i didnt mean to imply that the car was not responsive, it’s just underpowered. The exhaust hacked together and I have a feeling that it’s just an exhaust issue. it feels fine for 1000rpm or so maybe and then feels like its chocking/struggling for the rest of the revs…

one thing i did notice is that for a completely stock set up the brakes feel surprisingly nice and solid. It’s the first time i’ve driven a 240 with abs, maybe that has something to do with the pedal feel?

Could be that abs cars have larger mc’s and/or bigger boosters? I have no idea if thats true, but could be.

they do (have bigger m/c’s)

ohh no wonder my pedal feels like a rock, i put a ABS MC in my car, its so responsive. pretty much a good thing. And yeah, i saw his exhaust. its quite…weird. the resonator seems like its off a MDX or some shit. he should of kept the Bee*R exhaust

90% of the time you can safely take out the resonator and it will sound alright

thing is resonators can cause dead spots in the power band, especially at transitions from light to medium throttle, better to design the exhaust to reduce the velocity near the end than put some restriction into it

John, check the vacuum lines and stuff like that. I used to think there was stuff wrong with my KA until I ended up going over all those lines. Now it pulls hard all the way up to 7K like it’s got some mad VTEC
