I thought this was pretty cool. I went to Canadian tire and bought some Hi Temp paint meant for manifolds. Then I took off my engine cover for my 87 300ZX. soaked it in hot water and pine-sol. scrubbed it clean. Then painted it. Looks pretty cool. Ill be putting it back on my car in a few hours. And here it is intalled. I also polished the top of the screws. Gave it a nice look. You can see in the first picture , to the left of the engine cover, the screws before they were polished.
Unless you clear the screws they are going to rust.
