Edit more detail: bled the clutch, hooked up the dizzy and alternator. Did a compression test, about 155psi on all cylinders.
any reason you didnt paint the bay while you were at it?
looking good otherwise
We did spray the bay. It’s gloss black. The car was originally maroon.
Today we got the intake and wiring done. I still gotta neaten up some wires. Put all new ground straps. New ngk plugs, still need wires yet.
Header is painted flat white. We also had to weld up a hole along one mounting bracket on the under side.
Checked for spark…of course not. Believe its the coil. Here’s why lol:
Got a coil from Andy to try the otherday. There still wasn’t spark I ordered a new one and put it in. That solved my problem.
She fires right up. Idles nice. We had to switch around some coolant hoses, it was getting hot. We noticed they were switched around. We did the timing. All thats left is button up some interior bits, extend the passenger side headlights harness and tap in for the side markers and the city lights. Then put the wheels on and adjust the suspension.
Ohh I need to get some bushings for the shifter.
#5,8 and 11
Sound like it’s coming along nick when you get it done I wanna see it bro
I’m hoping to have it rollin by the weekend. I wanna take it up to battle at the borders on the 14th and deff go to the bbq! Lol

Ohh I still also need center caps for my wheels. And the tac in my cluster is fucked up. As soon as you turn the key, it jumps to 2k, and at idle it sits just under 3k…
Got he bushings in the other day and put the shifter and linkage together.
Pirite and I started the passenger side harness, I finished the driver side today along with a lot of random things to finish up.
Got the headlights/corner lights/side markers in. Drilled holes for the front tow hook, and mounted the license plate bracket.
Bumper back on, tow hook fits nice!
Put the car on the ground and adjusted the suspension a bit.
Front shot
Down low shot
Rear tow hook nice and centred
Shift knob installed
City lights on once it got dark out
Tomorrow I got a lot to do once I get out of work. Can’t wait for Sunday!
hell yeah!
getting shit done!
Address your driver turn signal fitment please. Also, if you use a nut and bolt instead of the factory plastic screw thing you can get the bumper to line up with your fender much better. Car has come a long way, you really saved it.
oh, and i told you it was a fuse or something stupid like that
I will adjust the driver corner and fit the bumper better today. Thanks for the tip
Anytime, it certainly made a big difference on my car both front and back.
The back fits perfect with the little clips. Just in the front the front part of the bumper sags a little. My dad took the car and got it inspected this morning. I’ll be hitting it hard once I get outta work
Shit. Lol
Looks fucking awesome deff a great build!
