del sol wheels, correct?
who cares what it’s worth? sometimes the fun is in getting something done. godspeed
yes, i beleive they were an option on some del sols.
today, got the heater core, and ac stuff out of the dash. along with the pedal assy, srs unit and wiring, firewall foam shit. the wiring harness it just about out, i still have to pull it thru the firewall. there is a little more sound deadening that needs to be scraped out yet. its lookin nice and bare!
i need to get me some sandwich baggies to store/organize some bolts haha, its gettin kinda messy lol
good luck!
and deni is the man
Actually the wheels were also offered for the 96-98 model civic’s along with some Integra models instead of the steel wheels. I remember paying close to 1200 for those stupid wheels back in 1997 when I bought my brand new 98 EX sedan.
Thanks deebo! Not the man though!
Nick sorry I couldnt make it today. Hopefully I will be feeling this weekend and can swing by
just a couple more random pics.
wiring!
engine bay shot
the only things left to come out before sanding/body work etc are whats left in the engine bay, floor harness, and dome light harness, and gettin the rear end up to get the rear suspension out.
Parts goin to PC soon!
also on the to buy list are both wheel bearings and ball joints… the list is getting longer and longer
stuff removed today:
-brake booster
-mater cylinder
-clutch master
-clutch line
-front brake lines
-misc brackets/bolts
-rack and pinion
only things left:
-fuel filter
-fuel lines
-rear brake lines
-sub frame
got the motor and tranny separated. motor on the stand! tore it down a bit; IM, dizzy, alternator, coolant hoses etc.
also removed the VC and the head. the head bolt closest to the dizzy on the intake side wasnt even tight!!! thats where the head was leaking around! the aftermarket HG that was on there is beat, separating and fallin apart. the coolant journals were partially clogged because of the shitty HG.
gotta call today from the tax lady, my return is all done! i just filed it yesterday lol. lets hope its a good one, i got a lotta parts to buy haha
subframe is out and degreased
door panels, window regulators, glass, molding etc removed from all the doors
rear trunk piece i picked up from andy. old one has to be removed, and this one welded in
Keep up the good work Nick. Might as well get the subframe powder coated like I did mine
Lookin good son!
i prolly will get the subrame pc’d. and thanks jam! what happened to you the other night?!
looks good!
