he needs to go, getting a bearded dragon or two, im asking 40 bucks, he is fun to hang out with and loves to be out of his tank, but once he gets relaxed he likes to run so give him lots of room. he wont go far if he escapes. he got out once and just went into my closet and slept in a pile of clothes haha
heres some pics make me an offer, the reptile expo is this sunday so he needs to be gone by then
I dont know man. He likes being held tho? How big is he now? You know its a male? I am just concerend with my daughter around a lizard. Tort is slow and friendly, so she doesnt scare my daughter, you know what I mean?
yeah, he likes being held, once he gets comfortable he will run. too young to be sexed but i believe its a male. i dont have a tape measure handy, but his body is a little longer than my index finger and his tail is a little longer than thumb to pinkey legnth

i have only had him for a few months, if you look online they have a chart with age/size chart, he is an excelnt eater and yes all healthy, he had some scab or something around his eye when i first got him (you can see it around his left eye in the pics above) but the pics arent recent, but i got some eye drops and it eventually cleared up and he has always had his crickets and worms dusted with calsium and vitamin powder but i recently ran out
i have no idea, there is going to be over 200 vendors and they said prices negotiable and some up to 70% off, they are about 70-80 bucks around here so im hoping to get a fairly small red or orange beardie for 100 a piece (might pick up 2 depending on how nice they are)
Cool. Wheres this show? I would love to get another Texas Collard Lizard. They are all white with black spots, and stripes on their necks, hence the name. And I had a male, so when it was mating time, he turned blue with orange on his sides.
I always wanted a chameleon, but was told they were for experienced handlers. I have had 3 lizards and the tort now, but I still get nervous about buying one.
our monitor was like a big dog. haha we used to let it roam the house. he would climb up on the couch and get in ur lap and sleep. thing was so mellow. thing was 37" long. was great when strange people would come over and he would come lurking out from under a couch or something !!lol. people would walk in and be like whats in the cage nothing but fred is around here some where.lmao
