Day 2, and the cold is damn near gone. This stuff really works.
Also like to add that during the cold’s “peak”, the symptoms were completely bearable. Well worth the money spent.
This is a useful thread, I am going to try some other people’s remedies next time I get a cold and see how they work out. Hot cider and jack daniels sounds epic.
I can’t disagree - there have been nights I got shit faced and forgot about my cold for a few hours. Completely worth the hangover.
Before I got flu shots on the regular I used to get Zicam. I, however, used the serious shit that you spray into your nose. Not only does it clear your sinus’ but does a phenominal job of relieving and preventing cold/flu. Although it can be habit forming due to the goodness in it. Use with caution.
I got some mucinex yesterday morning and have been on it for almost 2 full days trying to clear the congestion out of my chest. I have to say its pricey ($12 for a week supply of 14 pills) But its working wonders on my chest. My cough has gotten a lot more productive and I can really feel the gunk loosening up and finally getting out of me. Its nice to be able to take a somewhat deep breath without needing to hack out a mucus ball.
Aren’t drugs wonderful.

I heard it makes women get back in the kitchen to start making sandwiches again within 24 hours.
Wow. I should get some of that, I haven’t made a sammich since Saturday.

They are giving out flu shots at my work also. Not sure if I should get one or not. I haven’t got a flu shot in like 10 years at least. I rarely get sick (knock on wood).
rarely is good, I barely ever get sick BUT when I do I am out for a good two weeks such as this killer I got I am on day 10 BUT finally starting to feel a tiny bit better and can finally sleep
I’m on day 6 of mine and finally feeling like I’ve shook it. I’ll still have a barking cough for a couple weeks but the sickness feeling is finally down to a minimum.
I’m like you though, I only get sick once or twice a year but when I get it I’m totally useless for about a week.
Here’s one I just thought up of on my own.
Eat two altoids and then drink a glace of ice water. :lol

Oh and for the record Mucinex does indeed make your pee smell funny.
