clicking noise after coilover installation

installed coilovers, but when i took it out for a spin, everything felt great except when turning the steering wheel both left and right at slow speeds (2km/hr) there’s a clicking noise (like there is too much tension somewhere and something is about to pop) . Any idea of where this noise could be coming from?

What kind of coilovers are they? If they are D2’s, its probably the weak ass springs or pillowball mounts making noise.

hey,

the noise is kind of knocking noise when i turn slow on turns, it doesn’t happen when i’m going driving speed. The noise is coming from the front, bolts are pretty tight. Any other suggestions? camber plate??

do u mean a binding sound? like a rusty hinge?

if it is clicking as you approach full lock it may be that your frnt sway bar endlinks are pooped…

if they are D2’s it could just be that they suck balls really bad.

well when i turn the wheel, what i see thats making the noise is that the spring is grinding against the strut. Not sure if the spring is supposed to be moving when the wheel is almost locked.
