If you were at all qualified to make the broad, overarching claims that you’re making (which, by the way, fly fully in the face of every researched public documentation on the subject), you would be so high up in the intelligence establishment that you’d know better than to post about it in an Upstate NY car forum.
And you would have probably been shuffled out when Obama took office.
My argument isn’t that there are nothing but innocent people there my argument from the start is why not put them through a legal system and sentence them.
Why is everyone against going through a legal process?

And why do you feel that drugging someone is even better than torture? Because someone isn’t feeling pain? I personally would be pissed if someone drugged me to get info out of me.
I’d feel honored if I was in that situation to uphold my beliefs despite getting the shit out of me or beaten. Not saying that omg I’m gonna get captured on purpose, but if it came to it.
LOL no I have never been to Gitmo nor do I claim to be but I did work at a detainee holding facility soooooo I am quite aware of who goes where but thanks. I can also assure you that good people DO end up in them and they are released after a type of TRIAL that they are prvided. I assure you people dont get snached up and people dance around cheering “YAY GITMO!!! TORTURE! TORTURE! TORTURE!!!”

Nice low blow at education but a swing and a miss i got me da college! But like I said I only came in here to share my opinion on the subject shared on what I know. I do not like torture at all personally and wished we lived in a world without it. I am pro having a system to punish citizens of other nations on our accord and if they could extract the same informatino in a more humane way i am also for that.

Yeah, well, the process needs to be more publicly accessible, if what you’re saying is true. Because the reason that Gitmo is getting closed is it’s bad reputation, which it got because a lot of people who know a lot more about how it operates than either one of us are of the opinion that a lot of innocent people are being held on unsuitable evidence without trial, and that some people are being tortured.
As for other methods, I know that ILC so artfully dodged my snare of “information,” but there are plenty. fMRI, and microexpression analysis among them, but certainly not their limit.
As for the drug, the results are no worse than torture, and the process is much less terrible.
Sorry I’m just too used to people knocking anything that comes from a University as being automatically biased.
