clutch just starting make a whirring/whining noise
this just started happening recently
only when clutch is pressed in for more then 5 seconds or so
its a vg maxmima clutch (sr)
throw out b?
Yup sounds like a tob to me.
stopped all of a sudden after some around town driving

I got that with two of my throw out bearings. Both were new and both had under 5000km on them. The third one I got (OE Nissan one), still does it when I start the car in the morning. After some time, the whirling/whining noise goes away…
I still don’t know why they do that, but I don’t care anymore…
NGK bearings and most bearings that come with clutch kits suck monkey nuts.
Get the Koyo bearing OE from Nissan. I installed it today. Should hear and feel it tommorow night
