Last year i bought a 240 clutch pedal went straight to the floor and stayed there so me and my buddy bleed it and did some adjusting we fixed it but it was still really soft. now that the snow has melted i got in my car and happened to push down the pedal ! it went straight to the floor and stayed there!!! whats going on and what can i do to fix this?
check ure clutch slave, and master cylinder also.
its usually the slave tha has leaked i would check that first and for any leaks in the lines. if not that check master.
awesome guys i will do that thank you… on my buddies truck the slave is in the tranny its not the same case here is it?
yes the clutch is on the tranny.
the slave is NOT in the tranny. the slave is on the outside passengers side of the transmission.
ensure none of your lines are leaking or sweaty. When you go to bleed. be sure to bleed the clutch dampener/cooler line if applicable for your application.
if you keep blowing a slave…change your pressure plate. it will be bent
thanks a ton
yeah iv got the same problem, Clutch to the floor.
but me, i can put it into gear, any gear i want, rev the fuck out of it but nothing catches…
I had to replace my slave a month or so ago… and yeah since i did that the clutch has was soft, til it went thru the floor haha.
but yeah, right now my car won’t move, think its the pressure plate?
