Cobra or Viper

Keep the cobra, it will be cheaper to go faster and the insurance will be cheaper. The Viper I would be afraid of scratching.

I think we cleared up this insurance thing already…so people can stop listing that as a reason not to buy the Viper…

Mike- Pick the style that suites you. I had a Gen-2, and now a Gen-3. I was attached to the Gen-2, but the Gen-3 got me as a whole. I will not trade back, but I am sure some people would.

PS- Stay away from 2000. While it has one of the most desirable colors (Steel Gray) It is also an off-year, No Forged internals <99, and No ABS >01. Unless you are THAT hot on that color, stick with 99 or 01/02. PS- Charcoal Metallic from 2002 is one of the hottest colors EVER on a Viper. Very similar to Steel Gray, slightly darker. Very large metal chips in the paint.

Also, Red is a deal killer in almost any year. It is the most widely produced color, and thus the most common and least desirable. I advise staying away from it if you are worried about resale down the road. Best resales are found in the other year-specific colors.

Lastly, Who ever said he was going to keep the car stock anyway? While I admittedly dont know his plans… A modded Viper is no less impressvive than a modded Cobra, so who cares? Its his car anyway.

id say keep the cobra, make it fast, go womp on vipers for fun so you can say your car cost $40k less and is mad faster :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

vipers are cool, never drove in 1 but sat in 1 at a stealership and the front end looked way too long and ghey from the cockpit. That alone would keep me from ever wanting to buy one. Plus I dont like 2 seaters since they have shit for room. Gotta have a backseat

IMO if ur sick of a Cobra already with knowing you have sick parts to go on it, then ull end up getting sick of the viper in a year or 2 also. But its ur choice if it were up 2 me I’d finish up the cobra with the parts I bought for it and see how I feel about it after the season is over. There will be plenty of vipers around for you to buy whenever. I dont make decisions to buy/sell something until I am beyond a doubt conviced that it is what I want to do and that I wont regret doing it later on. IMO u havent given the new setup in the Cobra a chance to win you over. Vipers are Overrated too.

meh. you are overrated.

get off my leg humper. Go take some more homosexual emo pics of yourself or something.

i wasn’t humping you, i was making fun of you. stupid.

This is obviously a battle your guna win since I dont sit on here all day and post post post. I’d never be able to keep up in an arguement with a powerposter such as yourself. But I must tell you I feel so priveleged that you gave me all this attention in your busy schedule of posting online and taking sweet pix of yourself half dressed for a bunch of onliners to look at. I hope the time you spent on me hasnt taken away from you receiving your online bj’s you so badly need to get through your EMOtional day:lol:

:gay: <---- thats u buddy

see above post about you being stupid.

hehe haha go NEWMAN GO!!! I think your victory calls for you to put on some more of your g.fs clothes and POST PIX!! SLurp slurp slurp

i am glad you have conceded. tup.

Keep the Cobra, buy a duplex wait 5 years then buy a supercar !!!

I did the duplex thing for 10 yrs… pain in the a**… buy the Viper! and thats from a Mustang guy

keep the cobra, i hate the gen 2 vipers. they look like a penis. gen3’s imo are much better looking and much better interior.

Although I’ve never seen your Cobra in person, I’ve seen pics of it and it’s definitely a hott ass car. I’d say install all those go fast goodies you bought, take it for a spin, and THEN make a decision.

gotta agree… finish your car and see how you like it, then drive ur buddies viper and see how that goes… make ur decision then…

sell the cobra mike… just so my brother can have all your parts homie

again rt10s are gay as hell, get a GTS and sell the cobra, i see cobras everywhere.

 viper

I cant agree there… Driving a Friends/customers RT/10 around for a couple weeks is the main reason I decided to trade up from a GTS to an SRT-10. Aside from the goofy tops on the RT/10’s, they are damn cool. And I do have to say that an RT/10 from the back looks a shit load lower and wider than a GTS.

Besides… been there done that- there are enough GTS’s in this area already. We need some more RT’s!
