I like the search and destroy games. Those are about as close to reality as it gets. Nobody wants to die at the beginning of a match and wait 5 minutes for the next to start.
I used semtex when I started playing, but now I’m back to using claymores…
You can be accurate all you want, but %40 headshots is a little nuts, especially if you are running around. There just isnt time to aim at the head when the other guy will shoot whatever part of you is in his RDS. You can get a kill with enough bullets to the feet, lol.
If anything start spraying at the upper torso and the gun will work its way up naturally.
I’m playing on a PC though… I can’t aim with a joystick.
I have to say I have “Most Headshots” for my accolades whenever it doesn’t display “Most Kills”, “Highest Kill/Death Ratio” and “Killed Entire Enemy Team Without Dying” or “Longest Kill Streak”… then of course I check everyone else’s highest accolade and make sure none of them got it
As far as the OP, I only threw 1 knife. Worked great. I’m going to make a class revolving around the knife… probably a combination of carrying one with my handgun as well as increased melee distance as well as the throwing knife. And Scavanger if I can run it with those other options, I haven’t looked into it.
Not sure how true the PS3 having messed up servers, haven’t really had hard time finding a game…it could be that its really not the end all be all of games, some beat the single palyer and trade it in quick, be interesting to see the sales numbers. I know there’s never under 250,000 people on at a time.
XBOX became popular because of piracy.
also, there are no hardcore console gamers…just kids, and people with out jobs with people who sometimes have time mixed in, like myself.
Most “gamers” are PC players, and they got the shaft this time around.
Also now that I figured out how to abuse the auto aim a little better I’m doing much better lol
I play xbox live with a group of people in their mid 20’s. All with full time jobs or full time school. About half of them have a wife and kids, so I guess the game is a way of escaping from that.
Im not a fan of PC games for a number of reasons.
One of them being latency. You just cant trust all 16 people in the game to have a good connection and a strong enough computer to handle everything smoothly. On xbox you know what everyone is running.
The biggest reason would have to be the hacks that can be made with the PC games. The amount of hacks/add ons in Diablo 2 completely ruined the game. You either cheat or your gettin pwned.
Latency isn’t based on one’s computer but their connection to the host. I have several screens from MW2 where there were a couple people with horrible pings playing… sometimes I’m one of them. It has nothing to do with my PC and everything to do with my connection to the server.
I agree, hardware is a factor in gaming, just has nothing to do with someone’s ping.
I’m playing on a 28" monitor… I’m at a disadvantage to someone playing on a 21" widescreen at the same resolution.
