Collision shop recommendation

I need to get the wife’s accord lease patched up to be turned in… I need to get someone that can help figure out a way to not have to pay 6,000 deductibles for all of the different tiny scratches/dings all over the place (it is pretty bad). Anyone have a good shop for this or have done this?

Maybe paint medic? I think that’s their specialty, though i have no experience with them.

I do have experience with Jimmy Shine in hamburg. I have had good results with him…

well… there is some more serious crap than just dings. Like the rear quarter is crunched pretty good above the rear tire will likely need to be pounded out and bondo’d. Front bumper cover is cracked at the bottom from a rock or something that fell off a truck… Some scratches down to metal (not rusted at all), fuck i hate this car i want it to go away.

worst of all everything except for that rock hitting the front bumper cover happened at her work (target) when it was sitting in the parking lot.

lots can be wet sanded/buffed out though. kind of looking to see if i can find a shop that will repair everything on one claim if possible.

Ferber Automotive in Angola. They do OUTSTANDING body work and they’re really good people. They’ll work with you on price if you tell them what you’re trying to do.

the car must have sensed it had a woman driver and got all the other cars to punish it.

did you get the pre lease evaluation? and they told you 6k?

why did you never fix any of that stuff in the past?

because there is only 2 actual damages that anyone would fix… and its not my car so typically I don’t see the stuff until months later. Most of it is just parking lot dings and scuffs that any normal person would not bother fixing, but a lease turn in will require me to fix. I had to lease inspection done (not at honda but another dealer looking at taking the lease and me buying a new car) and they estimated it at $1,700 if they took it.

edit: oh and the 6,000 deductibles was an exageration, as in there is so many different damages that i can’t get it covered under one claim. I don’t want to call the insurance company before I know what my best option is.

All I can give is a not recommended, and that’s Carubba on NFB. Even after going back twice I was never completely happy with the work they did on my truck.

:word: I didn’t even get work done there, but was completely disappointed with their rep.

This guy came highly recommended to me by my uncle and did not disappoint. His name is Tom.

he does it out of his house or something? i know there is no shops on rowley i used to live there lol

There’s a used car lot in front of it. It’s there.

Affirmative. Awful work and awful people.

I did the paint medic thing with my dad’s bimmer before lease trade in, they were much more reasonable about their prices, and on a lease who gives a crap if it isn’t “perfect”. Actually their buffing and dent removal stuff was first rate. They got out dents that the “dent guy” that LAFENGAS sets us up with couldn’t get out.

X…

oh… really? i thought paint medic was just dent wizard basically… ok this is what i may look into. I am NOT looking for a good job, I am looking for an acceptable job to turn the car in.

thanks

hit up Roots Collision 426 abbott road in south buffalo. they do good work and been in business a long time.

aero collision ftw

honestly, and i know this is true with toyota… the actual car company (honda in this case) will charge less for damages than a body shop. For instance, a rear bumper cover on a Camry will cost ~$600 for replacement and paint. Toyota only charges you $349 for rear bumper replacement/damage on a Camry. Just something to keep in mind/consider.
