So after working for GM dealers for almost 10 yrs I have strayed away and now working for VW. I could tell you all the common prob’s with GM’s but I dont know sh*t about dubs. Like to get some knowledge on common VW probs/info to help me out.

oh ya Passat’s, blow threw ABS computers like its there job
and MK4 Jetta’s blow thew Brakelight switchs
and they have wireing problems too

What modal VW are you refuring to?
I do lots of VW side work… should just get a dealer job lol… But specialize in MK3, and MK4 and a few B4 & B5 never really worked on the new MK5 or the high end stuff, the truck or phaton

I’m selling the 400E. It’s a 92 with 93k miles. Actually a pretty decent car.
Well then youll see more… IP pump issues, Bad Heads from snapped TB’s… cold start issues are IP/ or GP’s (glow plugs) but if there is GP problem youll get a CEL… Cruise is also an issue with the PD motor (newer TDI motor)… and the Dual Mass FLywheel SUCKS.
heated seat recall on the Passats sucks… do the seat out on the ground youll need your body wieght to pull the fabric back…
