he was vice pres of Arbusto, but when merged with Specturm, he wasn’t the owner… that was dewitt and reynolds (i think)… bush was the CEO…
the issue arose when they got contracts to drill out of the states (off-shore) … as the company never did this before Bush knew it was oging down hill and sold his shares to Smith (stockbroker)… week or two later the company lost about 23 million…
after an SEC investigation to find that Bush didn’t do anything illegal it makes me think that Bush is a Spectacular business man… he was CEO and didn’t loose a dime… that’s the guy i’d like to run my government…

Not only did he win the Electoral Vote, but he also won the popular vote. He is the people’s President. The majority of this countries voters, voted him in. enough said. He was the better choice for this election.

don’t start with halliburton… IMO it was the company for the job… they had the ability to start the work and did the work in the past.

as for overcharging the gov’t, you’re acting like this isn’t common place… i mean FUCK, look at any local / state government and find me one that didn’t overcharge… find me a state / county / township that isn’t pleading for more money for whatever reason… tell me that the government itself doesn’t overcharge ‘itself’ … it’s debt… nothing new.
anyway… halliburton was shady, but at the same time they wanted the job done… they didn’t want to prance around like democrats and have 2-4 weeks for proposal bids… 2 weeks for deliberation and 2 weeks for a decision, making 2 months of just total bureaucracy while nothing was being done… it was sorta a rushed decision, but for the better IMO

yes but its not like he won by a landslide. this country is so divided I pray he can comprehend that and base his future campaigns considering the voice of the other half of the country. If he thinks he can continue his little parade I am afraid something bad will happen…
