But indeed no real excuse when you consider the profits, they’re clearly WAY too far on the safe side in terms of collecting premiums.

+1 on all your points. That’s why I’m in favour of government insurance i.e. BC in theory, because profits should not be a driver of rates. Which I think it currently is.

I have a few buddies that are cops, and even they told me how gay and stupid traffic cops are, there just a bunch of ex-nerds on power trips trying to flex their muscles at everyone and bully them around, my cop buddies told me this. LOL, and its true.

Insurance companies make billions in profit every year. We need non-profit government controlled insurance. Where your rates are a percentage of the money used last year to pay for claims and wages of the employees. We as customers would save thousands each year.
