DUDE! you were arrested for a suspended license. They can legally search your car after you’ve been arrested. Explain how the search wasn’t legal?

i thought that if they just ask you to open ur trunk u can say yes or no, but if ur already arrested/detained/cuffed/in the squad car/face down on the hood they can just go ahead and search, is that right?
they cannot search your car unless they have probable cause or something in visible site… i wasn’t pulled over for drunk driving or eratic behavior… i’ve had a criminal justice major and my lawyer tell me the same thing… my lawyer is a part of the US Supreme Court… so ask a lawyer about it… they didnt find anything so its a dead subject if you like cops then good for you… i’m happy for you… i’ve had nothing but bad experiances with them… get into an accident you wait an hour for one to show up… get pulled over for scratchin your ass expect 4… its over so apparently i was right and they were wrong say what you want about them taking more time than they wanted but everything was dropped i got my bail money back a chance to pay all my fines and everything is dandy… its done.

ive gotten PLENTY of tickets. 96 in a 65 dont go away because dads a cop… if i get a ticket i accept my fate and man up because i fucked up. trying to weasel your way out of it because you dont like cops is a bitch ass way out…
definitly not starting a fight or anything by saying this travis but, the last time i called the cops it was when I worked at a carwash and I was robbed. After I was robbed I did the responsible thing and called the police of course, now 15min later some rookie cops shows up. I tell him the story and you know what he says to me? he says “you’re lying to me, you took the money, where is it?” At this point I was a little irritated but w/e he’s only doing his job asking lots of questions so I tell him politely that I didnt take it and again gave him a description of the kid that did. Now at this point he brings me inside the office of the carwash and starts chewing me out calling me a liar and a thief, so of course I get pissed and tell him " I didnt fucking do it". Now after this he runs over to my car and starts tearing it apart making a mess of everything “searching for the money”. This is Illegal search at its finest, of course after this i lost my temper and started screaming at him calling him a pig and a piece of shit. After I said that he said he had “probable cause to search my car and that now he was going to arrest me for robbery”. My fucking dad had to come and convince the pig that I didnt do it and my dad had to follow me home. WHAT THE FUCK IS THAT SHIT!!??? THATS THE LAST TIME I HAVE RESPECT FOR A POLIECE OFFICER I WAS NOTHING BUT POLITE AND RESPECTFUL UNTIL HE STARTED BEING A REAL ASSHOLE AND MAKING A MESS OF MY CAR!! FUCK THE POLICE!!!

i’ve taken care of all my tickets… showed up to my court dates and couldn’t afford pay my tickets… i had no $$$$… that makes me a scumbag… and instead of me going to my mommy or daddy for my money i had to work like a man who has been through more shit than you can imagine… so before you start callin people scumbags do a back ground check… i drive an old 95 civic ex… bone stock… looks like i have a 30 thousand dollar car that i can just pull money out my ass… i cant so… i actually was supposed to go to court this week to have it all taken care of… but i guess i have bad luck… i never said i hate all cops… i never said that once but i tell you this once… give a boy a gun and his head fills up and balls grow… cocky bastards is what you get… 90% of the time maybe your father falls in the 10% i never said nothing about him… but i know what i know dont come off at me cause i made a few comments… and my lawyer knows the law i’m glad i have people taking drug dealers and drunk drivers off the road and ya know what i got caught… the fresh officers that pulled me over didnt follow the law… thats why i was released of my AUO in the 3rd degree

i used to take it personally when i got stopped, but hey, i was like 16-17. i grew up and i now know well enough not to mess with the cops by mouthing off. i mean, yes im speeding, im breaking the law and i get stopped for it, right? its fair because that speed limit is for everyone and everyone is supposed to have that number on their speedo. i mean, sure it pisses me off that now ive gotta use my time, go to court, spend money on fees, fines and insurance and blady blady blah, but i fucked up, its my fault and i take responsibility for it. im sure Travis isnt the only one that would stand up for cops because his dad is one. i bet you if most of you were a cop’s kid youd be yelling at people that say “fuck the cops” or whatever. its the same as when ppl bash lawyers, if youre a lawyer you wont want to hear that, or if u have on in the family. plus keep in mind, it varies from person to person. im 100% sure theres scumbag cops out there, theyre dirty and try to do whatever when abusing power and im sure that theres still good honest ones too. you just kinda have to put urself in their position and see it from that persons perspective. i used to be a cashier in many places when i was in school and now if i see one in training or something i dont stand there getting aggravated and start yelling at em. i know exactly how that is, i understand because that was me at some point.
