Covered by waranty or not? need inputs

Hi Guys,
I have an 05 Quest which has a Nissan platinum extended warranty 'til 2012 Feb.
Which covers power train and bumper to bumper.
Recently, i noticed some noise during idling, its like the timing chain or valve inside the engine
it not loud but its not normal to me. Probably on old cars this is normal. There’s nothing wrong on the way the car
runs, still has a lot of power. I raise this concern since i have it still under warranty, does nissan canada
going to change valves or timing chain if i request them to.

any inputs?

only way to tell is to try and get it serviced

but based on the definition of power train warranty, does that cover wear and tear parts inside the engine?

to update this thread, i went to the dealer, they check it and changed the belts.
noise is gone (i think so)…
