if you speak to pretty much any person 20-49 right now everyone knows significant numbers of people who have left. I spoke to a person today i hadnt seen in 5 months and they were on the vax-train and just had a kid. he brought it up that he had many friends who had fled the country already and he himself suggested that if things dont change before thier kid has to actually go out and do stuff that they would consider leaving as well.
had some people im close with over today from downtown Toronto… they couldnt even put a number on the # of folks in their circle that had fled to Latin America, too numerous to mention.
we shop homes in WNY daily right now.

My wife just took 2 separate home tests. Both positive. Slightly congested. Still running around the house doing chores. This must be the global killer people are so afraid of they need to risk a science experiment.

It’s working for now, what is the convoy and crowds of people about?
There is a national trucker convoy of a few thousand truck now who have committed to flooding Ottawa and blocking land border entry points until the mandates end.
They have raised $2.6m+ this week alone.
The crowds are Canadians supporting the only serious protest-threat we’ve seen. The protesting in Toronto hit pretty serious numbers yesterday.

I’m dealing with these mandates first hand. Couple of trucking companies we work with have unvaccinated drivers. They are now not allowed to cross the border so some carriers with say 6-15 truckers who cross the border regularly are now staying in just Canada to local Canadian freight, limiting the amount of availability we have for cross border freight. I have trucks late, missed picked up, now a lack of trucks to pick up. Other in our office are feeling this pinch as well as they have feed product to cross the border. Not only this but those who now can go over the border legally are raising their rates. It’s bullshit what the governments are doing while having a shortage already of truckers who cross borders.
yeah even if you are vax’d you still have a bunch of extra steps at the border so it makes sense to raise rates.

I was wondering if this was a retaliation to Canada’s mandate first. Vax or quarantine. Then it turned into both borders wanting 100% vax or don’t even bother trying to haul. Could just say, Non-vaxed could just sit in their truck the whole time and not get out. A lot of van drivers have to ship this way anyways as they are not allowed on some docks while loading or offloading.

flipped through a newspaper at a coffee shop and the only story was anti-convoy.
